Moreover, it supports some basic video authoring functions. I feel that the program’s interface lacks unity among its parts, just as if they were separate programs that have been put together. As a result, some features are not evident to the user. However, despite this disadvantage, I do not think you will face many difficulties while using the application because in many respects, its interface is quite similar to those of many media converters.
The software supports batch conversion of multiple video formats. Therefore, you may create a list of items to convert and preview their contents as well. However, taking snapshots of given scenes is not supported. You can use this program to perform simple editing actions, namely trimming and combining. I was particularly impressed by the Trim feature, which allows you to extract various segments from the same source file and save them as separate files. In case the source files contain multiple audio tracks and subtitles, you can choose one of them. Moreover, you can import subtitles from external SRT files. Multiple output profiles corresponding to practically every popular audio and video are available. They have been categorized according to format but also to their supporting devices. Unfortunately, all the files on the list will be converted to the same target profile, as the program does not support using individual conversion parameters.

As stated above, you can also use this program to create DVDs. This feature shares many steps with the already described ones. Finally, several types of output are supported. Thus, you can either burn a disc, save the contents to a DVD folder or create an ISO image file. Moreover, the program allows you to burn discs directly from image files, skipping the rest of the process.
In relation to video downloading, the application allows you to grab video from specific URLs but it also lets you perform YouTube searches. It also supports adding batches of video URLs and simultaneous execution of several download jobs. Besides, it can be set to convert the files automatically after downloading. Reversely, it supports creating HTML code to ease the process of uploading video to YouTube but it requires installing a separate tool for the latter operation.
